The Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and an expected number of hours a learner will likely spend on preparation, study, or other learning, including assessment, as guided by, but independent of, a lecturer, supervisor, or tutor are included in the Total Qualification.

One credit equals 10 hours of learning, so it is anticipated that it will take a student 650 hours to demonstrate the level of attainment required for the qualification award.

Guided Learning Hours

These hours include all instruction, direction, or oversight provided to a student by a lecturer, manager, tutor, trainer, or other qualified education or training providers.

GLH for this qualification is 360.

Assessment:

Learners must compose a written assignment for the NCFE Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. This assignment will be initially evaluated by a certified assessor and then further assessed by an IQA to ensure the learner has successfully met all of the qualification's learning outcomes.

For this certificate, students must complete a work or industrial placement experience across the staff. To receive this certification, you must practice at least 100 hours and collaborate with other students in groups.

Certification:

Ofqual Regulated Certificate: Upon completing the qualification assessment, learners will be awarded a certificate. It will not require any further cost at all.

QLS Endorsed Certification: For the Educational Psychology course certificate. Learners don't have to pay any additional payment.

Thanks for your question. To achieve NCFE Level 5 DET qualification, you must have 100 hours of teaching experience. Therefore, you must show an employment/placement certificate for the specified experience. However, a permanent teaching position isn't mandatory. You can voluntarily obtain teaching requirements.
